I thought this simply can’t be true. But I know you guys want facts. So I did a test. My assumption is all babies were equal. I have two friends that have mixed babies and I have two coworkers that have all white or all black babies. They ranged in ages of 5 months to 13 months. I put them all in a group and asked each one if they were smarter than the others. Believe it or not, NOT ONE baby said they were. /end smart alec mode ---

When I thought “significant” though, I was thinking more on the scale of 10-20 points. A disparity on that scale wouldn’t need funding or research to notice and once everyone “knew” it, it would only be a matter of time before it would be scientifically confirmed. (Some years ago I heard a statistic that Japan’s average IQ was 110; I’ll see if I can produce a cite for that.) I concur with your opinion on governmental reaction though.
