This is not good. Not only has an H5N1 bird influenza virus jumped the species barrier, it now seem capable of human to human transmission. Do you, like, LIVE for alarmism or something, Bosda? Yes, it’s spreading. Yes, it’s possible it can human-to-human. Fine. To leap from that to the Spanish Influenza of 1918 is just irresponsible. It smacks of WANTING to cause panic. Get a grip.4 ---

And so it was. But your coming here and running in circles doesn’t speak to anything but a need of your own to have something to scream about. Get a grip. We have a possible case of human-to-human…nothing more. Yes, the 1918 flu was a mutated bird flu. Lots of flu strains that spread across the world come from birds originally. The majority are nowhere near as bad as the 1918 strain. Obviously, it’s not good news that there’s been person-to-person transmission. But it should be pointed out that apparently, everyone that was infected with this new person-to-person version died, so that that particular version died out with them. As of right now, as far as we know, there is no virus out there capable of person-to-person transmission. Of course, if it’s happened once, it’ll probably happen again, but there’s no guarantee. It’s worrisome, but it’s not time to stock up on plastic and duct tape just yet. ---
