Yesterday I met by chance a 91-yr-old who was a RSM in the Irish Guards in WWII, a tankie. He lives alone and loves visiting Germany and meeting up with his old foes turned friends. I can’t imagine the decades he’s lived through.
He would consider 77 a lad.

So, congratulations.
