It all depends on the level and nature of the discrimination. If an apartment complex refuses to allow pets, aren’t they discriminating against pet owners? And if they are, would you say that they hate the pet owners?

I rarely participate in pittings, but the quote in the OP is surely one of the stupidest things I’ve ever read. The fact that anyone could say something so distinctly unpleasant, claiming it as a “God given right,” and then go on to call others unpleasant, is both hilarious and sad.

I don’t get the venom. Milum didn’t claim that empirically athiests are something. It’s just an opinion. I was kidding about banning someone to “protect our freedom.” That’s heavy sarcasm.
I don’t think that it’s “hate speech” either. That’s a great example of why those laws are a bad idea anyway. Who was threatened or harmed in any way by what was said?

Let me say I do not think Milum should be banned or silenced. He’s actually improved to the point where many of posts contain rational information! Nothing he has posted lately approaches the idiocy of his old sayings, like “The will of the people cannot be denied, even by the people” (AFAIR). Still, he cites almost nothing except the dictionary in GD, which is too bad.
Cut him some slack: the dictionary is the only thing he could cite that will agree with him (although he generally picks the wrong definition to claim support for his goofy hatreds).
In the interests of accuracy, I believe I was the only person who mentioned “hate speech” here, and I’d already retracted it before you posted.
As the OP for this thread, I’d just like to make it clear that I was neither accusing milum of hate speech nor demanding that he be banned. I’m only asking him to bite my ass.
