Except that would be equivalent to accusing the poster of trolling, which would be against board rules outside the pit.

I don’t think it is. It’s pretty common to link from a regular thread to a pit thread where you describe someone using all kinds of deeply disturbing metaphors. I don’t see why this would be any different.

Edit: you couldn’t link to it with the word “troll,” natch, but presumably could with words like, “I have something to say about this thread.”
