Howdy from da cave! I met OYKW for N.O.L. We experienced the gastronomic delight known as MickeyD’s. I shall head on over to the church house around twoish and assist with the packin’ of stuff to take to the park. There’s some signage on a wall a few doors down from my eye doctor. Two arrows, each pointing a different direction. \*\*\<==FLORIST=== ===HEALTH==\>\*\* At a restaurant near us, the dinner special on Monday was roasted pork lion. Eat the King of the Jungle? There was also a gaggle of apostrophes on the whiteboard sign that I was easily able to eradicate as a public service. ---

Another easy supper night - Amish corn and Amish cantaloupe. The corn looks amazing - all the rain has made it plump and luscious!! It’s in the steamer for a few more minutes, then it’ll be in mah belleh!!! ---

Why can’t colonoscopies be replaced with something like MRI? I’m not enjoying the no red, no orange, no purple, no dairy, clear liquids only day before diet. Pretty sure I also won’t enjoy the two rounds of blowout later this evening. ---

Howdy Y’all! VBS is officially over! YAY! I had a good time feedin’ all the rugrats but I’m glad I do not have another night of this. Tonight was burgers, dawgs, fixin’s, chips and ‘smores. YUM! I was grillin’ up meat over to the church house when a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig tboomer hit. I’m talkin’ cloud to ground ligntnin’ in the church yahd! :eek: I turned the grill off (with burgers cookin’) and took my bohunkus inside for about 20 minutes until it passed. Thus I was a little late with grilled animals. I got a couple of calls askin’ where I might be and I told ‘em sorry, but I do not want to be turned into grilled bear by lightnin’. 😃 **gotti** I hear ya! I had my second colonoscopy last year and was told I’m good for ten years. I sincerely hope the technology improves by then. ICK! Also, roast loin of lion, YUM! I shall now go surf a couple other places on teh intartoobz and then take myself beddy bye. I’s tahrd! Nitey Nite Y’all! ---

My mother and niece finally made it here. Thy were supposed to leave at 10 and be here around noon. At 11 my mother called to say they were leaving and they got here at 2. I wish people would listen to me when I give them directions. You take 70 west to 40 west (exit 32 because there are lots Rt40 exits off of 70) to my street. Easy and simple directions, right? Everybody wants to use TomTom, or Garmin, or OnStar or wtf ever they use and they end up in Funkstown. I like Funkstown, I would love to live there. It’s antique shops, cafes, and bed and breakfasts. Very quaint and charming, but not where I live. I can get here from Funkstown but I can’t tell other people how to do it. Of course they ended up in Funkstown, and my mother has been here before and ended up in Funkstown that time. You would think she would have remembered. The _Baltimore Sun_ sent me an email invite to subscribe to them. The email I sent back was quite nasty, I worked for them as a carrier and if customers mail in a tip with their payment the carrier will _never_ get it. Being that I delivered 450 papers, even at $10 tip per paper they were stealing $4,500 from me each year. Of course not everybody tips, but some people tip a lot more than $10, especially at Christmas time. So I told them what they could do to themselves and that they are nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves. Today I got an email from them thanking me for being a loyal subscriber. So now I can add stupid to their list of attributes. They took over delivering the _Gazette_ and each quarter when my mother pays her _Gazette_ bill she adds in a tip and I have to keep reminding her to stop doing that. {{{ **Rosie** }}} and {{{ **Doggio** }}} ---
