Take our own Starving Artist as an example. Do I think he is evil or bigoted? Not really, as evinced by his willingness to have same sex couples participate in the rights that are available to opposite sex couples. Do I think he is irrational in his refusal to allow them to call it a mdarriage? You betcha! This is evinced by his inability to mount an argument as to why we should not allow them this beyond vague protestations that bad things may happen without providing any mechanism that will cause these bad things or any indication as to what these bad things are.

Then I suggest you do a more exhaustive search, lest you allow yourself to be driven by this ignorance. Then again, why bother? What you really mean is that I’ve supplied no reasons or arguments that you agree with. How is it that I can see the logic of your position, yet you can’t see the logic in mine. I’ve provided reasons and arguments, all perfectly rational. But because we start from a different place, and have different concerns, you not only hand-wave away the arguments themselves, you deem them “irrational”. Even after posters on your side have begrudgingly admitted my position is indeed rational—in more than one thread—we’re left with you peddling the same old schtick. It gets old. Yawn. Believe what you want. I’m too busy to plow that petrified ground again.
