I’ve figured it out. The “Stream” in Carol Stream refers to the stream of piss he/she sprays liberally into threads.

Every retail worker has my profoundest sympathy for having survived yet another mindless consumer feeding frenzy… I was supposed to go back to the tire store and have my new wheels torqued down after driving 50-100 miles on 'em–I duly went out and flogged those new tires (fabulous, by the way, thanks for asking!) then I really did try to get over to have the lugs torqued, but I totally spaced on the fact that the tire store is right next to the Clackamas Town Center Mall and the Clackamas Promenade, and as soon as I saw the backed up traffic on 82nd I diverted to 72nd and went the hell home!
I did my level best to observe National Buy Nothing Day, but I figure it doesn’t count that I bought a mocha on my way out this morning because I get one every Friday, and I had to get some Snapple after walking the dog all over the park so I didn’t dry up into a corn chip… Am I a bad person?
Oh, and Carol Stream–kindly do the world a favor and stuff your hydrocephalic nugget up your twat and do a little yodellin’, since it’ll keep you busy and off the keyboard for a while and might even improve your mood some… :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

In my opinion the rant was solid, well thought out and far from tepid. Did it ever occur to you that a rant could also generate additional venom against an act? Plenty of posters in this thread are condemning the craziness that Black Friday has become. When you first posted, you were the only one that had nothing to actually contribute to the thread. I have never figured this compulsion out. “Today is the ‘biggest shopping day of the year’! Guess I’d better got to the mall quickly!” What sort of sheepish group-think is that, anyway? Like, to be packed into a shopping center like sardines is community-building or something? That said, I agree that it was a great rant. I have a friend who makes a tradition of going with her mom and her sister at 4am on Black Friday. I don’t think that she’d mind me posting part of her tongue in cheek email about it to me.
She’s actually a total sweetheart so I doubt that she is abusing the staff but she is one of the crazies.
