Hey **lezlers** , happy 2K! Thanks to _you_, I can’t get that bastard Whitesnake song out of my head. BTW, re the OP, pandering is as pandering does. Back in the 80s, I remember plenty of white boys watching the MTV, raptly, waiting for Madonna’s _Borderline_. Kleenex sales must have skyrocketed. These days, at least these hip hop cats have some sense of style. Granted, it’s not good TV, but then again it’s not a piece of cherry pie falling onto a _smokin’_ chick’s lap, or a fellow with a frizzy mane giving The Shocker to a fuzz-trimmed, Y-shaped 'lectric guitar. And these hip hop stars, they’ve got some kickin’ rides. I bet they sell more $150 driving shoes that way… ---

the reason that ALL of those videos have so much in common is plain and simple formula, the same with those 80’s buttrocker videos. once the folks who make the decisions find a formula that works the milk that fucker til its dry. its been that way since motown in the 60’s and I see no end in sight. what ever happend to Arrested Development damnit?
