This happened a few years ago, although in that case it was a [set of twins, with one born white and the other black](http://www.snopes.com/photos/people/mixedtwins.asp) - although in that case both parents were mixed race. So it is possible that the baby is genetically the child of both parents - but I guess we’ll see. ---

Black babies, in particular, are often born with much lighter skin tone than they’ll have when they age, I’m told. –Cliffy ---
