Black Widow Teaser Trailer

(Bolding mine)
Now with extra stank!

Ok, you’re right, I was wrong - Natasha was team Steve in IW. I just rewatched the scene, the definitive moment is Secretary Ross saying Vision was “on a stolen quinjet with four of the world’s most wanted criminals” - Steve, Nat, Sam & Wanda. But she definitely wasn’t in the Raft in Civil War.

I doubt there’s going to be a lot of sexual violence in this movie.

I’m stoked for it. Except that last scene with everyone freefalling and shooting looked a bit ridiculous.

“Thank you for that! Never. . . dropping that, by the way.”

Wow, I guess they really did a number on poor Hopper in that Russian prison…

well, being upside down can do that to a person.

Marvel Studios just released a teaser trailer for the Black Widow movie (coming May 1, 2020). Looks pretty promising.

[/QUOTE] I would have been a lot more interested in this movie about 5 years ago.

Yes. Certainly has a lot of “been there, done that” feel to it.

I’m so excited!! A solo movie for her should have come out a long time ago, but I’m not going to be a choosey beggar. The trailer looks great, and I’ll be catching the movie day one!

Honestly, I hope Florence Pugh does become the new Black Widow. I think Scarlett Johansson is a decent actress when she’s playing cynical alienated people like in Ghost World or Lost in Translation, but she’s just not a very good action girl in general and Black Widow in particular. Based on the trailer, at least Florence Pugh can do a decent Russian accent.

My guess, based on nothing more than comic book knowledge and deduction, is that this movie and Falcon and the Winter Soldier are going to set up a “Dark Avengers” style thing with Thunderbolt Ross establishing a new, government-sanctioned Avengers everyone will call the Thunderbolts, except they will be secretly controlled by Zemo. I wouldn’t be surprised if Yelana Bulova and USAgent are among them.
That said, I have very little interest in this movie. Honestly, I have little interest in any of the movies Marvel has announced for Phase 4 except Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Endgame was just such an emotional catharsis, it kind of blew out the candle of my desire to go forward in this universe without Iron Man or Cap. To really pull me back in, they’re going to need the Fantastic Four.
