Let’s see… Gene Rayburn was a guy with a goofy mug who made his living pretending that Jack Klugman’s ex-wife was a celebrity, that Nipsey Russell was a brilliant poet, and that the words “boobs” and “tinkle” never stop being hilarious. Which means Gene Rayburn was the Benny Hill of game shows. ---
