Ostensibly it’s not that bad, and objectively it’s not as bad as a lot of Fox ventures. Critically, it’s [somewhat well received](https://www.metacritic.com/tv/bless-the-harts/season-1). I’m a former fan of The Simpsons (best tv show in history season 3-10) and I think currently Bob’s Burgers is one of the best shows on TV bar-none, so I’ve caught a fair amount of Bless the Harts. Regardless of the charm of existing in the same universe as King of the Hill, I don’t like the show. …But what I don’t like can fill a warehouse, so just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s bad. There are some talented and funny people involved, so here’s to hoping (if renewed) it will improve with time. Most shows improve after season one. ---

His improved character on Harmonquest really won me over. He ad libbed all the valuable aspects and it was hilarious.
