It depends on the medication. I’m sorry I can’t give any more specifics but they have never deferred/refused me for Tagmet, Zantac, Prilosec, Vioxx or Ibuprofin. I am sure there are some (if not many) medications that might cause complications. Call your local blood center for details, I’m sure they would be happy to answer any questions. I am scheduled to donate tomorrow, if you want me to ask the techs about anything in particular I will (if I remember).
