From what I can tell, Yahoo only keeps two weeks’ worth online. [In the thread where you told us about this being available](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=346493), someone said you can search the archives if you subscribe to the daily comics deal from ucomics ($11.95/year). Going to [http://news.yahoo.com/comics/bloomcounty](http://news.yahoo.com/comics/bloomcounty) gets you to the newest date every time. Didn’t thank you when you started the first thread **revtim**. I didn’t read _Bloom County_ yet when they introduced Bobbi Harlow or Opus; it’s a hoot to read the earlier stuff. My old roommate and I have been “appalled with two p’s” since somewhere in the early to mid-eighties (we lived together 1983-1986ish). We had several additional Bloom County jokes that aren’t coming back to me immediately. Hadn’t looked at this in a couple of days - love the Opus intro. Thanks for sharing. GT ---

“Appalled with two 'P’s!” Ha! I’ve never met anyone else who’s ever got that! “Like those of…Caspar Weinberger.” “Start over!” “Madam, do you love your baby?..Then why did you eat him?” Priceless. I loves me some Bloom County, and have nearly all the books (gotta steal some of mine back from my brother). There’s also a new Opus book out - bought it recently. Haven’t read it yet, but I will soon. ---

About a year ago, one of the managers in the department where I worked uttered an obscure Bloom Countyism during a board meeting, and was quite startled when I caught the reference. Certainly nobody else did. (For the record, the quote was “the cat drinks unleaded”) My personal favorite: “Gene Simmons never had a personal computer when he was a kid.” ---

My love for Bloom County knows no bounds. This link is SO going on favorites! When I watched the movie “Second Hand Lions” I KNEW the cartoons used were drawn by Berkeley Brethed, and had to restrain myself from informing everyone else that too. But with a name like Lola, of course I’m a fan! ---

A friend of mine once used the phrase “zoom along to his manicurist at 90 miles an hour” in a story submission. He was astonished when I spotted it as a Bloom County reference. (That strip used to hang on my wall as a kid!) ---
