Perry looked like a fifth-grader sitting in an eleventh-grade algebra class, praying he wouldn’t be called to the board to demonstrate completing the square. It’s amazing that even with Romney’s glass jaw, none of these knuckleheads can land a glove on him. ---

Actually, I think the 666 bit was pretty clever. Yeah, it might sound crazy to _us_, but then, we’re not exactly her target audience. I expect that that’s _exactly_ the sort of zinger that would resonate with the kind of person who’s debating between Bachmann and Cain for President. ---

Here’s why I give her a little slack on the thing… When she started in with the ‘turn it upside down’ bit, I was thinking … here we go – she 's heading off into Jesus Land and there may be no coming back this time. Instead she continued and actually made a funny about it (not terribly funny, granted, but at least a normal kind of quip about it). Here’s the thing … there are a plethora, nay a multitude of things we can point and laugh at Michelle Bachmann about … but this? Really? The only thing lamer than the joke is beating her up over it. ---

Well we already knew she was dumb and crazy, and then she tries to make ha-ha and fails at that too. “Durr, devil’s in the detail. It’s funny cos a 6 looks like a 9 upside down and 6 is Satan’s number. Lol, Hyuck hyuck!” Wow, Michele, you are literally bad at everything. Go back to saying claiming you can fix the economy in 90 days. ---

I think the 666 thing is the closest Bachmann has ever been to intentionally funny. The problem is the Poe’s Law issue that pops up every time Bachmann opens her mouth. You can’t REALLY guarantee that she’s ever joking. ---

So anyway, I’m actually a little surprised by the Repubs calling Cain out on how absurd his “Price of Pizza” plan is, although some for different reasons. Bachmann and crew labeled it more taxes for the bad and scary government, but Huntsman pretty much openly mocked it as not implementable and impractical. It is, but confessing that doesn’t align with strong-right Teabaggery very well. Romney also dismissed it as being catchy, but ultimately too simplistic to actually solve economic problems. Very good. They’re talking like they actually want to win an election here instead of scoring Teabagger brownie points. ---
