How about… Indecent Exposure? Blowjobs aren’t illegal (and if they are, the aw certainly isn’t being enforced.) Blowjobs on a freaking _school bus_ with _other children watching_ had better be illegal one way or another. At the (public) high school I attended, we had a small handbook that stated our rights and responsibilities as students. It clearly spelled out that such behavior as mentioned above is clearly in violation of numerous rules. I, for one, am glad that those involved suffered disciplinary action. I would’ve kicked them out of school, myself. ---

This has to be one of the oddest OPs I’ve read in GD in a while - and considering some of GD’s denizens, that’s saying a lot. 😃 The crime in question here is not having oral sex. Indecent exposure works for me. Something to do with lewd behavior perhaps. Or how about an oldie - moral turpitude. Whether oral sex is wrong or not is not EVEN the issue here. ---

It’s not illegal to give/recieve a blowjob. Indecent exposure, however, is illegal. I’m glad they got the police involved. ---

I can understand the ‘kids’ involved being punished, but the spectators? and how can you arrest someone without knowing what they’re being charged for?? That seems to me to be the most ridiculous idea I’ve heard of in this country - I would NEVER peacefully allow an officer to arrest me if he didn’t know for what he was arresting me. ---

In addition, in something like 19 states, oral sex is included in the legal definition of “sodomy” as a criminal offense. Even in New York, “consensual sodomy” is a class B misdemeanor, though the State Supreme Court has ruled that any prosecution for private activities which violate it is an unconstitutional violation of privacy. Getting a BJ on New Year’s Eve in Times Square, however, would presumably not be consistered an activity in which one has a “reasonable expectation of privacy.” * * * ---

In California, fellatio is legal so long as both the blower and the blowee are 18 years old or older. If the case described in the OP had happened in California, **both** the 16-year-old boy and the 15-year-old girl involved could be charged with a crime. ---
