49 male, married. Mrs M has never taken it to completion, and will only do it at all if she is very turned on, and never after her own orgasm; and the idea of doing because, e.g., her girlyparts are temporarily unavailable, doesn’t seem ever to have occurred to her. She used to like receiving, but doesn’t any more. Some previous gfs have been more into it than others, but taking it all the way was very much in a minority - only two who ever would and, on the flipside, one who wouldn’t go for any oral contact _at. all_ (tho’ she enjoyed receiving the one time we did that). The usual “special pleading” - she had a hypersensitive gag reflex. I get a lot of gratification out of pleasuring my partner, so if he likes it then I’m always glad to do it, including to orgasm. If it makes a difference to him, I’ll swallow, though I don’t particularly enjoy doing so (usually I’ll be solicitous the first time and swallow, and ask him later what he thinks about it.) One caveat: If he’s a one shot per night guy, I’d prefer not to fellatiate to orgasm because I really like intercourse and would be bummed out not to get any. I am not interested in wasting my time with someone who won’t give or receive. Both have to happen in my relationships. The current one is a bit imbalanced because he prefers giving to receiving. I think he’s just not all that used to getting oral sex. The first time I offered him a blow job, he looked at me like I was crazy. “You mean you’re asking me if I want it. I don’t have to beg you for it?” Nope. I like doing it, so I will. He’s still timid about asking for it, though. I get a lot of amusement out of randomly asking him if he wants a blowjob. No, I was just mentioning all these women talking about how they like doing it and have done it… but not many of them have taken it to completion (at least most of the time). I was just mentioning that in another thread, the guys were not counting if it wasn’t to the end. If you read my last sentence, I disagree with that statement, and don’t get the notion of guys “not counting”. ---

30 year old female. I love giving head. I would do so to completion if I wasn’t stopped most of the time. (I find it odd that it doesn’t count unless it’s done to completion, that does screw with my statistics). With one caveat, I do have TMJ, and once in a blue moon it acts up and I can’t open my mouth all the way and it does hurt me. But thankfully that is a rare occurance and anyone that I am dating usually understands as you can hear my jaw popping while sitting next to me. It actually popped once during the pleasuring and the guy I was dating FREAKED out. It didn’t hurt him, I guess it’s just an odd noise to hear. However, I dislike receiving intensely. In fact, it’s probably been at least 5 years since I allowed it to happen. I just prefer the giving. ---
