I was told once that the Blue Reflector “invention” was an Eagle Scout project.

Are UK “cat’s eyes” sunk into the road to avoid snowplows? If so, that must terribly expensive. How many are used? In the American south, they’re used by the millions to mark highway lanes, because it’s assumed that they will not be plowed up.
