Hi Dopers! Just back in from an assignment that had me out in NYC from just before Turkey Day up to now. NYC is a great place for visiting, but for a down home Southerner like me, it was great comin’ home! Missed loggin’ on to this board and wonderin’ what everyone is up to. Didn’t have access to a computer with my duties and my line of work, so I had to forego that little luxury for awhile. Haven’t skimmed the board too much (this is my first post in many moons), hoping to catch a lot of my favorite posters like Satan, OpalCat, Zette, ChiefScott, Shirley UJest and the rest of you regulars . I even missed C3’s Pearls of Wisdom. Well…they’re like wisdom, only different. Well, anyway, hope I didn’t miss much, but I’ll catch up. I dunno Mel; I see Blue lists his occupations as “boo-boo fixer, full-time cynic, secondary miracle worker.” He could probably drink, flirt shamelessly, crack wise and generally make an ass of himself with the best of us. I got a new job, had a nice Christmas and a fun New Years celebration. I got a nice fuzzy polar-fleece shirt for X-mas, and a new digital camera from Santa. I posed as Santa on the boards at Christmas time, then accidently gave myself away by signing “Zette” at the end of a post, earning me the nickname “Zanta”. That’s about it in my world.
