# Board Background Color

Maybe that’s why you see a pink background. I see a tasteful assortment of greys and whites.

Pink? I don’t see any pink… greys, and a kinda lavendar color here and there. Here, you can borrow my old eyeglasses… Or maybe your monitor is about ready to bite the dust. 😉

IE 5.5, Win ME here, and I’m seeing shades of gray, too, not pink. What browser and OS are you using, Mister V?

I am using IE6, and Windows 2000. Actually, Nightsong is more accurate in describing the color as lavender.
I’m talking about the lighter color that appears behind every other post.

Hmmm…
While I know everything is on a white background, the amount of grey/lavender makes the white look ‘dirty’ to my eyes. Perhaps a similar thing is happening to Mister V?
Could see, if colors are a problem, if this board will support user-chosen colors (stick their color prefs into a cookie, etc.). Dunno how much more work that’ll be for the boards to do though.

Must be something particular to IE 6. I would check the browser settings to see if you notice anything relating to background colours. When time permits I’ll try to download IE 6 on my other machine and see what it looks like.
