I hardly ever use all those new fangled buttons…I still code my posts the old fashioned way!! :p. I think the OP meant in the body of the post, though, not bolded in any quote from another poster.

You should refuse to bold the user names of the people who took it as a rule suggestion, you know, just to show them your contempt for their reading abilities.
Stop attacking people!!!1!!!
Mods!!! Cheshire human is suggesting attacking people!!!
I did that for a long time, until they got rid of the auto italics in quotes. I still do occassionally.
Right, anytime you use another poster’s name, bold it. I was just pointing out an instance where the board software cites names, it bolds them. I am well aware that is a slightly different situation than in the body of text. The board software has very little reason to automatically insert usernames into paragraphs. Otherwise, I’d see what it did there.
And I realize what the board software does is not a constraint on what posters must do. Hell, I specifically manually coded quotes precisely because I didn’t like the auto feature presentation.
All I was saying was, “here is one example of how the board does it automatically, and thus contributes to expectations”.
If anyone bolds my username, I’ll cry so hard I throw up. You’ve been warned.
Sorry, Giraffe, I’m not falling for it this time.
Giraffe.
Pics or it didn’t happen.
Hey!!! You didn’t bold my name, you evil cad, you!!eleven.!!
Oh, nevermind… [/emilylitella]
Making Giraffe cry is my only reason for living. Giraffe, Giraffe, Giraffe,!!one!!eleven!!!
