# Board Hangs Up For No Reason?

Does anyone else get this board “hanging up” issue? I have a fairly recent couple of computers and a fairly speedy internet connection, and I don’t get this problem from any of the other websites I visit.
Out of the blue, for no apparent reason, I will either attempt to reply to a post or click on a forum link and the pages just don’t load (or they load r e a l l y slowly).
Is it just me or something inherent in the server/board format?
I’m new so if this has been addressed in a previous thread, please forgive…

I see your join date is January of this year. If you joined on January 1, I’m surprised you haven’t run into this question 61 times already this year.
Somebody has probably asked this daily for the last ten years, in fact. The first year was probably their fault, since the board didn’t exist yet. But starting from 1999 it’s never worked properly.
You live with it or leave, as many have. Nobody expects it will ever get better. (Well, if you go to the Pit, youll see that some people do expect it to get better. They’re delusional, so they don’t count.)
