Huh. Zapped again but this time with a new twist. Usually it zaps me at log-in. This time I got zapped after a couple of hours of being logged on. ---

The couple of hours’ lag reset has happened again today. It’s saying I last visited at 1:30pm today, at which time the computer wasn’t even on. So, again, lots and lots of threads which are unread but which appear as ‘read’. :mad: ---

To whom it may constern: There’s a new thread, started today (7/30/2014) by **Trinopus** on board performance complaints, which are starting to mount up again. So shall we consider closing this thread and continuing discussion in the other thread now? Or merge these threads? [Stupid Republican Thread…Slow?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=729865) (Initially complaining about that thread, but quickly understood to be a board-wide growing problem, not pertaining to just that thread.)
