Is this just a weird coincidence (it was from August 2012) or some kind of code? I’ve seen this tweet quoted on a number of news sites but no one ever offers even a WAG as to its significance. I know I’m stumped, but I’m betting someone here can figure it out or at least offer an interesting hypothesis. ---

The kind of smoking that went on at the boston marathon was not the kind that people generally want to be a part of ☹ ---

A few of his friends have said that he was a bit of a pothead. It may have just been an innocuous comment on his desire to smoke without scrutiny.
