Most of those who (over)react to the responses they get in the Pit aren’t reacting to a bad word, they’re shocked that they finally got called out for lazy thinking. Like one example I’m thinking of, who couldn’t believe anyone would doubt the straw men he’d diligently hand-crafted for years. ---
