I think the Occam’s razor explanation of this is that it is an incredibly stupid right wing nut job. I do not think these “bombs” were meant to go off, I think they were meant to send a message. Like a horse head in your bed. My guess is a can of hair spray and a lighter is about as likely to go off. However, they are going to be treated as a full blown terror attack, and whoever did this is going to get serious jail time if caught. Just plain stupid if you’re going to be half-assed about it. Clinton and Obama would make ideal martyrs, both mostly respected by their people and largely irrelevant. Plus, as a right-winger, doing this right before the mid terms is absolutely moronic.
