This reminded me of the real life example of a comedian. When Leslie Townes Hope family came to America he used the traditional way people introduced to each other in England. “Hello, I’m Hope, Leslie Hope”. Of course he stopped this when at school many thought he was “Hopelessly”. (he shortened his name to Les to avoid that and then they responded that he was Hopeless!) Of course Bob Hope had the last laugh. (also with the bullies, Bob Hope began to cream them so good that he became a boxer before going into acting and comedy) ---

Coyote, super genius” (Looney Tunes shorts featuring Wile E. and Bugs Bunny) I do believe Yosemite Sam also made a habit of announcing his name.
