Booth was using what appeared to be a garden variety M-4 carbine while Broadsky used a FN SCAR-L. Both had mounted scopes but neither are remotely sniper rifles. ---

I’ve just lost interest in this show. Tempe is pregnant. Booth is the father. :o I mean, they sustain this tension for many seasons… go to bed one time and BANG! That’s cheating on the part of the writers. The Angela birth scene took waaaaaay too long. I don’t see how there will be any time for solving murders next season. Why was Ryan O’Neal in a wheelchair? He looked awful. ---

Yeah, like we didn’t see that coming a mile away, especially with all the subtle CLUES that they placed in the show. My guess is that Deshanel’s pregnancy threw the writers for a loop and they quickly rewrote the last two episodes to accommodate. Like I said before, I think they can make it work, if the writers let the baby survive. He probably looks awful because, for all the botox he has in his face, the rest of him looks as old as he really is. He’s had a rough couple of years, including the recent death of Farrah Fawcett. But, IMO, he’s still pretty darn handsome for being 70. Oh, and the wheelchair was probably contrived as a reason for Booth and Brennan to go undercover. Booth took his place on his bowling team. Yeah, I know. I don’t know why the writers have to write their characters to be such caricatures. It’s like they take every stereotype and magnify them 100 times to the point of stupidity. ---

They never really developed a relationship- Booth and Bones went from being teasing, flirty friends to this- now- very serious situation. I feel short-changed and cheated. They didn’t want to have to do that thing where Debra Messing carried pillows and big hats in front of her tummy at the end. 😛 ---

Well, when she told Booth, she didn’t smile until he smiled. If he hadn’t smiled… I just feel this will throw the whole show off. I always appreciated the _Law & Order_ franchise for not getting deeply into the characters’ personal lives. You had some info- recovering alcoholic, bad childhood, several marriages, whatever. But the focus stayed on solving the crime. This does not bode well. Was anyone surprised that Angela’s baby was okay? For a split second, I thought the baby might be blind, but then this would have turned into _House_ or something and no more murder-solving. ---

Bones has been character driven since Day 1. Its murder mystery solving subplots are always very weak, IMO. And throughout the years, the writers have made it clear that Booth and Brennan have developed an attraction for each other, so sleeping together wouldn’t have been completely off-the-charts. I think that it’s jarring because the writers didn’t have time to fully develop a more plausible storyline. But, in their defense, they couldn’t have known that their title character was going to get pregnant or I daresay they’d have done a better job mapping out “the biggest surprise in Bones’ history.” ---

I feel completely cheated. I mean, if they are going to get these two together, do it ON CAMERA. (not xxx, but you know what I mean) This “I got into bed with Booth” being the only thing we get is crap. It’s been building and building for the whole run of the show and ‘it’ is told to us in a couple of cryptic sentences and a few second reveal? WTF! Disappointing. The only redeeming thing about it was Booth’s smile. He looked truly elated! ---

(or did they answer that in the ep?) ---

I did like Bones and Booth in costume, especially Booth’s yucky hair. And the little dance he did after he bowled each time. Tempe looks good all tarted up. ---
