Bonesman (R) vs. Bonesman (D)

Well, this thread seems to be dieing but…your cites were certainly good for that laugh. Do you, by chance, have anything from a reasonably unbiased and reputable site? I don’t know if you realize this, but Guerrilla Network News isn’t usually considered a very reliable source. Most folks would rate even Fox Network News several notches higher, for instance.

Personally if these are representitive of the sources you are using, you should calm down a bit and stop fretting about this thing.

It is absolutely dishonest to mischaracterize Cecil’s comments in that way. From the column you referenced:

Cecil takes great pains to detail the complicated string of events between Prescott Bush and the Nazi party. Bush owned a single share of stock in a bank controlled by a guy that was an early financier of the Nazi party, but who broke with the Nazis and denounced them after their openly vicious attack on Jews in the 1930s. That was his connection, which you have the utter dishonesty to call “directly financed.”

I’m not sure which discussion you think we’re having. The very nature of Skull & Bones dictates that there is no mainstream journalism. Do you think Barbara Walters is going to do a Skull & Bones expose? Are you nuts? The very fact that there is NOT any mainstream analysis should cause some alarm. Admittedly, current and former presidents, and buisness tycoons are members, but there is still no mainstream investigations. CBS is not going to air a Skull & Bones documentary. It simply won’t happen. Guerilla News Network and others are brave enough to publish news that isn’t politically correct, and possibly dangerous. Yes, just like CNN and FOXNEWS, these sites need to be read with an eye out for disinformation and propaganda, but any intelligent person should be able to distinguish between what is opinion and conjecture, and what is backed up by fact - even if not ‘officially sanctioned’ by the network censors.

One share, one million shares, indirectly supported, whatever. A fascist is a bloody fascist. First, go back and read Cecil’s article a little more closely. It says that Thyssen who partnered in UBC broke with Hitler in 1938. Then why was the company seized by the government in 1942? The ‘Trading With The Enemy Act’ was signed after Pearl Harbor, and unless there were some offences completed after Pearl Harbor, the government shouldn’t have had a case…

Yes, Bush was a minor stock holder in the UBC business (though some sources say he was the managing director), but the point is that his Skull and Bones buddies were all over his Nazi dealings. I thought that’s what were talking about here. Bush, along with Harriman were both partners in a bank with a guy nicknamed ‘Hitler’s Angel’ because he handled the Furhrer’s U.S. investments, and later wrote a book ‘I Paid Hitler’. What isn’t clear? Oh… maybe they didn’t know what was going on. yeah… that’s it…

UBC was not the only Bush-related entity seized by the government:
Holland-American Trading Corporation (with Harriman)
the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation (with Harriman)
Silesian-American Corporation (with Walker)

The government sure had it in for this Bush guy, I wonder what he did to earn such an unjustified vendetta…
