Anyone going this year? Who’s been to one? [http://www.bonnaroo.com/swf-txt/base.html](http://www.bonnaroo.com/swf-txt/base.html) Looks like quite the festival. Down in Manchester, TN for three days (June 11-13). I don’t think I can make it, but it’s very tempting. So who here has been? Was it worth the $170+ tickets? (I guess that’s not too bad, considering it’s three days and you can camp there.) ---

My sister’s boyfriend went this year. It’s a big deal in the city I live in (College town and all). Sounds fun, but I’ll probably end up having to work. ---

Are there shows in different locations across the country, then? The only one I’d heard of for sure was the Manchester one, but I’d heard rumors there was a northeast festival as well. ---

Holy moses, that’s one heck of a lineup! I stumbled across mention of this festival when I was planning my trip to Tennessee, but didn’t really check it out. I don’t know that I would have planned my trip for a different time because of it, but it’s awfully tempting. ---

I went to both of the other two, and I am going this year. I wouldn’t miss it for anything! The first one was so amazing that I can almost say it changed my life. No real police, and no real problems. Just good people having a good time. 80,000 of them having a good time. I think the only arrests were for public intoxication and things of that nature. They have like 4 stages with music that goes from around 12 or so until about 4 in the morning…well its planned until four, but the first year one band played until 8am! The north east festival got cancelled last year and I haven’t heard anything about one planned for this year, so if you want to go I would try to get to TN. You definitely will not regret it.
