There was an earthquake off the coast of Taiwan, but it was under water, and anyway, the decadence hadn’t even started yet. Extra points if you can nail a mullah with your quake. ---

So has anyone done the math? I look at [this page](http://www.iris.edu/seismon/)\* on a daily basis, and it looks like there was actually less activity yesterday than normal. And I’m just geeky enough to do the math! \*Red circle = earthquake in last 24 hours, orange circle = previous 24 hours, yellow circle = last two weeks, magenta dot = last 5 years. Size of circle correspond to earthquake strength. ---

So, I did the math (it’s not science, unless someone does the math!) magnitude actual avg(e\_count) 2 6 12.92 Within 1 standard deviation 3 20 20.85 Within 1 standard deviation 4 32 27.95 Within 1 standard deviation 5 3 4.32 Within 1 standard deviation 6 1 0.40 7 0 0.04 So, it looks as though there were slightly fewer earthquakes than average on the whole. Does this mean that boobquake was a … er, um, … a bust? 😃 ---

Which leads directly to the conclusion that boobies cause quakes.
