A few years ago by chance I started reading about the conflict in Northern Ireland and discovered that my knowledge acquired from the media was pretty faulty. Recently I heard an Australian politician whose forebears are Palestinian talking about the life of Palestinians. He wasn’t very heated about the subject but said some things that lead me to believe that I may be similarly misinformed about this conflict.

Is there any unbiased account of the situation, ideally with a minimum of political analysis? For instance my Irish readings started with personal accounts of things from the hunger strikes, to an American living in Belfast amongst the Catholics.
