Not Truett Cathy or Ivan Kos. This would have been published probably in the last 1960s, no later than 1970. Some sort of. . . self-help book?

Well, I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who responded to my question.

And now that that’s done, the author was Ralph W. O’Farrell, published in 1968.

Sorry I didn’t see it back then. I put the title into [bookfinder.com](http://bookfinder.com) and out popped those three names and also James F. Cullinan. I heartily recommend bookfinder as a meta-search site for books.
