# Book banning

Reminds me of this cycle:

1. Rule: No non-school-related announcements go home with students
2. Some parents: We’d like to the school to announce that our church is having a fun festival open to all next Saturday. It’s mean of the school not to let that be announced.
3. School: Okay, announcements of community events open to all are okay
4. Parents (the same parents as above): Johnny heard an announcement _at school_ about a fun fair at the local mosque! This must me stopped.
5. School: No non-school-related announcements are allowed at school.

Repeat.
