During bootup, the Windows Icon disappears and the cursor blinks in the left upper corner before going to my desktop. Whats with blinking cursor? Can I get rid of it?

Thanks,

It’s just going through it’s last remnants of startup before it initializes your video driver to display the desktop. Ways to get rid of it: move to 2000 or XP. It’s a DOS piece still left on the 9x OS.
