Lissener-- you might want to read BOTH lines of Cerowyn’s post (I know, it’s a bit long, but the later parts sort of “inform” the introduction and add to its deeper meaning-- a real hermeneutical circle).

I thought that was funny, myself, especially his misunderstanding of what “l’chaim” means. “It’s Jewish. It means to life!” “Yes. to laugh at Jew!”
