I eat it every day. The best way to cook it is just to sautee it in olive oil with fresh garlic and peppers of your choice. Yumm. I don’t want too many people to start liking kale however. That would cause the stores to run out and the price to go up. I had enough trouble finding it today as it was. On second thought, stay away from kale. It is probably covered in pesticides that can never be washed off. ---

You’ve got me interested - these are the varieties I can grow in Calgary: Dinosaur, Red Russian, Winterbor, Westlandse, Improved Siberian and Redbor. I will add them to my garden next summer. ---

I just hung up from an hour-and-a-half phone call from someone who dialed my number by mistake. One thing led to another as we mentioned people we knew who knew people he (I think it was a guy) knew and so on and so forth until the time had just slipped away. I never did get his (or her) name or phone number. Oh, well… ---
