The problem is I don’t have any maternity leather. I was completely unable to find anything to my liking _sniff_ And anyone who feels the imperative to have a picture of me pregnant can suffer silently. There is ONE picture of me pregnant with the munchkin and that is from the hospital the day before she arrived. The adventurous and truly desperate members of the tanookie watchers club can find it easily enough. If I end up with less pictures of me pregnant with munchkin prime then all the better. And am I supposed to be wearing the Garciaparra shirt or the Aardvark? And where exactly is the Aardvark planning on putting that snout? I can just see the headline now ‘Pregnant Garciaparra accosted by Rabid Aardvark at Fenway Park’ ---

I hate to introduce a bit of seriousness to this thread…but some questions: is there a place to park? Will it be obvious to non-city folk? And since my birthday is in August, do I get an honorary aardvark? ---

One of the reasons for selecting Aug 16th was that the Red Sox are out of town and therefore there would be parking. Will it be obvious to a non-city person? Um, I’m a city person, so I dunno, but there are good directions on the website. I cannot comment on the arrdvark until the commitee meets and discusses it. ---

You need to turn left, into the alley that’s just before the building Boston Billiards is in. It’s easy to miss, unfortunately. I wonder if there’s a drink called an aardvark. There should be, if there isn’t. Since only a week and a half remain, I think it’s time you pull out the big guns to get more Dopers from north of Boston to come. So here it is…the reason I am planning to attend… **Krispy Kreme is right off 93 North, and open 24 hours! Use the Dopefest as an excuse to stop by on your way home and pick up a dozen, as I plan to do.** There ya go. You can thank me later (preferably with a donut). ---

I didn’t even know we _had_ Krispy Kremes around here. I thought Dunkin Donut’s had the monopoly on Donuts in the entire region. Any Dopers - north, south, east or west- are welcome. Even from Connecticut. Heck, I think some Iowan Dopers should attend, just to say they did. ---

Dunkin’s are much more cakey, while the Krispy Kreme original glazed is almost melt-in-your-mouth airy. Mmmmm…I like both, but I consider them barely the same food. (My goodness, I sound donut obsessed. Let me stand over here next to **tanookie** and her Monopoly collection… 😉 ) ---

I like donuts and all but having had to make them before kind of tempers my enthusiasm for them. There isn’t much more disgusting than an industrial deep fryer! ---

Ah, I know the feeling. I worked in a food court (at a mall that shall remain nameless) during my high school years. Allow me to point out that of all the ice cream flavors to find a roach in while a customer was picking a flavor, lemon sorbet _has_ to be the most visible. (I distracted the customer while my coworker performed emergency cockroach removal.) And the back halls behind the food places? Eww… So!
