Best lines: Denny: “I’m homophobic.” Alan: “I’m stunned.” * * * Also funny, if a bit disturbing: the whole bit about the doctor injecting his own ass fat into the women’s faces since it’s such “good stuff.” Most upsetting and emotional sequence: Schmidt tearing to pieces the elderly woman with Alzheimer’s, during the trial. And later, Schmidt visiting her dad and reading to him even though it doesn’t look as if he knows her anymore. Most unbelievable scenario: Alan’s assistant agreeing to be paid to stay in bed with him because of his night terrors. ---

I was wondering what he paid her. I would have said at least $40 an hour. I found it revolting that the father would let his kid get away with killing someone. ---
