I am surprised they were still in the Boston area, if it’s the same guys wanted in connection with the bombing. By my reckoning, they had two days where no-one was really certain who the suspects were or what they looked like - more than enough time to make a run for Canada or South America. ---

He had ample time to off himself today (unless in the unlikely event he didn’t have a weapon) and his prosecution is going to be brutle. It will be significantly more difficult to kill himself in custody. ---

Might be an indication of what his defense attorneys will try, whether at trial or in plea bargaining. ---

I don’t know that he surrendered so much as succumbed to his injuries. Hard to resist being taken into custody if you’re unconscious. ---
