Right on Greebo; for the rest, the murderer (who I believe was profiled by Norman Mailer) was Gary Gilmore; the monk I had in mind, who wrote about Arthur, was Gildas. I would also have accepted Geoffrey of Monmouth, whose _Chronicles of the Kings of Britain_ is the major medieval source of Arthur lore. I was thinking about comic _book_ artists, when your IQ about Garry Trudeau made me realize that **DLR** ’s answers also applied to comic \*strip \*writers as well.
