Elendil\_s\_Heir, when I quote to pull the previous answers down, I discovered the numbering doesn’t follow. Is there a way to do that, other than manually going back?

Hmm. Well, the numbers appear now. I haven’t had any problem with the numbers continuing to appear when I reply and quote a previous post.

That’s because I copy/pasted into my notes, then went back and added the numbers. _shrug_ The possibility of user error is very high.

Correct on 1 and 2. #3 was Alexander Calder. He looked at Mondrian’s abstract geometric forms and wondered if a sculpture could be made of it. Mondrian was dubious.

1 and 3 are correct.
#2 is Art Spiegelman.

One of the homebrew rules of Botticelli here on the SDMB is that you can’t look up the answers, only info pertaining to the Subject in order to answer questions. Given that, I will take the other DQ.

DQs:

1. Unusual first name?
2. Known from comic books or comic strips?
3. Last name starts with M-to-Z?

That’s all my DQs.
