I’m coming up blank. The English carols I come up with (“What Child is This?”, “Good King Wencelas”) are still too recent. Maybe whoever wrote the original tune to Greensleeves before the music was recycled for “What Child Is This?”, although I think that’s usually credited as Traditional (i.e. we have no idea) ---
