I dunno. Appearing in movies 100 years apart implies that the first appearance was in a silent movie (since the first movie would be from at most 1925), but I can’t think of anything that fits.
Nosferatu would work as the movie, but I have no idea of a character who would qualify.
Nosferatu would work as the movie except neither it nor the original source material are by Americans.

I can only think.of Tonto but he was Native Americqn.
