1. St. Augustine, who’s _Confessions_ detailed his early hedonistic life then eventual conversion to Christianity. 2. Field Marshal Sir Alan Brooke, Viscount Alanbrooke - who was Chief of the Imperial General Staff during World War Two and Churchill’s right hand man. 3. The local theater in Mount Airy is named after native son Andy Griffith. Mayberry is often thought to be modeleed after Mount Airy, and Mount Pilot is modelled after the town of Pilot Mountain, ten miles away and **Wargamer’s** home town. 🙂 DQ. Did you die after 1975? DQ.
