#2. is Van Morrison, who sang ‘Caravan’ at The Band’s concert ‘The Last Waltz’. It was a kicking performance, in that he did about twenty high dance kicks, in addition to singing well.
#3. isn’t Vercingetorix, but rather Lucius Vorenus, who is one of the central characters in the HBO series ‘Rome’ (both seasons), and who was mentioned (along with Titus Pullo) in Caesar’s ‘Commentaries on the Gallic Wars’.

Robert Vaughn was in The Magnificent Seven (itself a remake of the Seven Samurai), where he played a killer for hire; he played the same character in the scifi remake, Battle Beyond the Stars.
