Are you Rikki-Tikki-Tavi?
Thought I was the only one who had any DQs left…
I had one left:
Right abouit Reepicheep and Roland Michell; but the Nature Boy was the wrestler Rick Flair.
But that was my first-name last-name question. Did I violate etiquette by asking it before everyone else had asked all their DQs? If so, I did so in ignorance, and will accept any penalty decided on by the other players.
Yes, I am!
And, no, that doesn’t violate protocol. A final DQ naming the person is alays allowed. Well done!.
Since you did have one DQ left, I won’t object.
But I do think jumping the gun like that violates our normal gameplay.
I thought I had seen it done. However, I realize how it could cheat the other players out of their fair chances to guess the person. I offer you my apologies. Would you like to take “S”, in compensation?
Actually, I already did ‘S’ a few turns back, so ‘T’ should be next.
The main drawback I see is that you’re limiting yourself by not waiting for the other DQs to be asked. You were right this time, but what if you hadn’t been? My remaining DQs might have completely ruled out your guess, in which case you would have wasted your “Firstname Lastname” question.
True, but I had a hunch. I knew that I was loosing my last arrow, but I thought it was worth a shot - I figured that if I didn’t, some smart sumbitch like Elendil’s Heir or Knowed Out or that SCAdian feller would get it on the next turn. But yes, I agree that not letting you get your last DQ in did rob you of a chance. My apologies again.
Okay, so … I am T!
Well done, SMV, although I do agree with SCAdian that it would’ve been better to wait for your “Are you Firstname Lastname?” question. A word to the wise, and all.
T it is!
