When I saw politics and not European or American the first thing I thought of was Pol Pot. (Actually, the first thing I thought of was a chocolate chip cookie, because it was mid-morning snack time… but, I digress…) The first of the other two were Paul Kruger, known as Oom Paul - or Uncle Paul, the President of Transvaal in the 1890s. Kaiser Wilhelm II sent him a congratulatory telegram after the Jameson Raid was quashed by Boer troops in 1896. Later on, he became the face of Boer resistance during the Boer War, and incidentally, the face on South Africa’s Krugerrand coin. The second was Brazilian soccer star Pele, who took New York by storm in the mid-70s as a star striker for the Cosmos of the now defunct North American Soccer League. Let me cogitate on a person, and I’ll get back with all of you. ---

IQ1 - I’m racking my brain, but I can’t think of a ‘T’ character in Toy Story, so a DQ. IQ2 - Was Fran Tarkenton considered to be a PPE? I thought that nickname just applied to the Viking defense. If it’s not Tarkenton, then another DQ. IQ3 - I don’t have to worry about racking my brain on this one since I have no idea about Norwegian theatre. So, either 2 or 3 DQs depending on the Tarkenton answer. ---
