Matt Helm. (Mac liked to be silhouetted against a bright window so the people he was talking with couldn’t see his facial expression clearly, while he could see theirs.) Donald Hamilton, who wrote 27 books about Helm. (I strongly recommend them if you like the genre, especially the first dozen or so - much better than James Bond. _Death of a Citizen_, the first books, is one of my top 20 favourite novels. The movies, on the other hand, suck big-time.) Yes, ‘Hoibert’ Hoover, indeed. I’m not sure about Hero and Bianca; which Hero do you have in mind there? #3. is Hadrian. I would have to go back and re-listen to the Mike Duncan ‘History of Rome’ podcast to dig up the justification for ‘wall(s)’ - suffice it to say, he’s best remembered for the ~80 mile wall from the North Sea to the Irish Sea, though he did build others to define what he considered the ‘limits’ of the Roman Empire.
